Steampunk Victorian London, just with vampires and werewolves spicing up your day. Biffy's just a regular human, though, albeit one who is working towards becoming a vampire. To this end, he is a "drone" to the vampire Lord Akeldama (and indeed functions of the leader of the dozen or so drones that Akeldama has), and as part of the vampire's excellent spy network spends many an evening being a pleasant, easily forgotten dandy at high society parties. His hobbies include fashion/always being dressed to the height of it and gossip acquiring knowledge and sharing it.
